I wonder what six episodes the Better Call Saul team are going to enter for their drama series submission 🤔…

TV FYC: Juno Temple ("Fargo"), Tony Shalhoub ("Mr. Monk's Last Case"), Rashida Jones ("Silo"), The Curse, Expats, The Gilded Age and Slow Horses in all categories.

Did Jon Bernthal even appear in Braciole except for the final shot where we see his face because I only remember his one scene in episode 6.

Harriet Walter should have submitted With Open Eyes.

I believe he has some voiceover at the start of the episode “haunting” Carmy? But yeah, incredibly embarrassing nomination, clearly just for S2 and the strength of the show

Juno Temple should submit the episode We’ll never have Paris. The episode where that video was leaked

Waterworks is a perfect submission for Rhea Seehorn. Sheryl Lee Ralph should submit the episode Fire. Brian Cox should submit Rehearsal the second episode. Sarah Snook and Alan Ruck submit Connor’s wedding. Matthew should submit tailgate party where he has a vicious argument with Shiv. Culkin should submit Church and state and Strong the finale.

Hannah Waddingham is insane if she doesn’t submit “International Break”. The board room scene was a highlight of a very uneven season.

She won’t win again, but at least submitting this she’ll go down swinging.

What I would wish for the Succession crew to submit

    Sarah Snook: Connor’s Wedding
    Kieran Culkin: Church and State
    Jeremy Strong: With Open Eyes
    Brian Cox: Rehearsal
    J. Smith-Cameron: Living+ but err
    Matthew Macfadyen: Tailgate Party
    Alexander Skarsgard: Kill List
Alan Ruck: Rehearsal, but he’s probably going Connor’s Wedding
    Nicholas Braun: jail time

The guests made their choice already but Harriet Walter should have had gone with With Opens Eyes instead

And the six for Series I would go with:
“Rehearsal”, “Connor’s Wedding”, “Tailgate Party”, “America Decides”, “Church and State”, “With Open Eyes”

    FYC: Colin Farrell, "Sugar"
    Carrie Preston, "Elsbeth"
John Turturro, "Mr & Mrs Smith"
    Ethan Hawke, "Reservation Dogs"

Shōgun, Fargo and The Gilded Age in all categories.

It's all about the 3x Best Drama Series winner Succession!

The way “kill list” would be easily top 3 of any season in contention yet no place in the top 6 for Succession season 4.

Kill List, Honeymoon States and The Munsters are all awesome as well and would be deserving. Living+ is the only one that would be controversial since people either liked it or not. I did like it but it’s not up to par with what season 4 gave us fans.

    FYC: Colin Farrell, "Sugar"
    Carrie Preston, "Elsbeth"
John Turturro, "Mr & Mrs Smith"

Civilisation when Claire Danes doesn’t submit “Me-Time”:

TV FYC: Juno Temple ("Fargo"), Tony Shalhoub ("Mr. Monk's Last Case"), Rashida Jones ("Silo"), The Curse, Expats, The Gilded Age and Slow Horses in all categories.

lmao wait I didn’t even realize Bernthal’s submission is not the ep where he has actual lines until now 😭 and the internet is saying he deserves to win because they’re thinking about “Fishes” lol. Platt is great in “Dogs” and would be my choice if my loyalty didn’t lie with Luke.

I think it says everything about Ted Lasso’s long meandering season with so much shoved into each episode that except for Phil Dunster having to go with Mom City, the rest of the cast either have no obvious choice or they have one but would be better served submitting another episode.

Jason Sudeikis- could go with the premier or the finale. Maybe Mom City as well. Oddly, Ted is not really funny and doesn’t have much comedy bits in any of these episodes. Not sure that helps or hinders (but likely irrelevant this year with his main competitor in basically a drama called the Bear, JAW).

Hannah Waddingham- has a few choices- Signs (though not a well received episode on the whole), International Break (most likely) or the finale.

Juno Temple- the obvious choice is We Will Never Have Paris but it’s a poorly written episode (by two people who’d never written a TV show before and it showed) that was terribly received (lowest rated episode of the entire series by far on IMDB). Would be better served by International Break but if that is Hannah’s episode submission they likely would not allow them both to submit it as competitors in the category.

Brett Goldstein- likely (I Don’t Want To Go To) Chelsea but could also go with La Locker Room Aux Folles with Roy’s big monologue. Though for both Brett and Phil their funniest scenes (and most viral) were from Sunflowers but I don’t think either will submit it.
