May 22, 2024 – September 2, 2024
Join us at the Reagan Library for a special exhibit commemorating the centennial of the founding of the U.S. Foreign Service – the career diplomats who advise the president on international affairs and advance our nation’s interests serving in 165 foreign countries. The exhibit tells the story of the origin, development, and contributions of the Foreign Service. It was developed in cooperation with the American Foreign Service Association -- the professional association of career U.S. diplomats – which also celebrates its 100th anniversary this year. On display will be several historic artifacts from the library’s collection. The special exhibit will run from May 24 to September 2 in the Air Force One Colonnade.
