Regular Museum Hours

The Reagan Library is open 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. every day of the week.


We are closed on the following holidays:

  • Thanksgiving
  • Christmas
  • New Year's Day

Parking

Parking is free and there are a limited number of bus stalls.

Please note, our visitor lot is too narrow for RVs. RV parking is available on Presidential Drive.

Attention GPS Users

Our entrance is off of Madera Road. Some GPS devices take drivers to Tierra Rejada—this road does not lead to the Reagan Library. Our entrance is on Presidential Drive, accessible only from Madera Road.

*Active Military

Active US military receive free admission with a valid military ID.  You do NOT need to reserve tickets online. All walk-ups will receive Museum entry. Admission for family and guests is full price.

*Veterans and Students

All Veterans (with valid military ID) and College Students (with valid college ID) receive $3 off admission when purchased in-person at the Library. Admission for family and guests is full price.

Presidential Audio Tour

For an additional $7.00, rent our audio tour of the Reagan Library. Over 50 audio stations, and the voices of President and Mrs. Reagan, enhance your Library visit.

Audio tours are available in English and Spanish.

Our policies regarding purchasing and exchanging tickets

Purchasing advance tickets to visit the Reagan Library is not required for admission. Any ticket purchased for use between January 29-March 14, 2024 can be used at any time during that period. No changes need to be made to your current reservation. Use of these tickets after March 14, 2024 will be subject to a special exhibit up-charge per person based on the special exhibition open during your visit. 

Arriving & Touring the Museum

The Museum is designed for self-guided activities. Please allow two and a half to three hours to view all the galleries and exhibits. The Museum and grounds are wheelchair accessible except for the interior of Air Force One. 

For those of our visitors who are unable to walk through the aircraft, a wheelchair lift is provided to access the entry of the plane to view the flight deck and communication center. Additionally, elevator access is available at the rear entrance and a special photo album located next to the airplane is available for viewing. Special needs parking spaces are also available. 

Complimentary wheelchairs are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note that no pets are allowed on the grounds or in the Museum. However working animals (i.e. guide dog for the blind) that are identified as such are allowed.

The Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization under the IRS Code, sections 509(a)(1) and 170(b)(1)(A)(vi) and as such contributions are deductible as described therein.

School Tours

For grades K-12, there is no charge for school groups to tour the Reagan Museum and the Air Force One Pavilion.

For planning purposes, school groups are allowed to tour the galleries at anytime, but the vast majority of students tour the museum from 10:00 a.m. to noon, Monday through Friday. Learn more.

Tour Options

Guided tours with a lunch are available for groups of 30 or more with reservations made in advance.

The newest addition to the dining experience is our renovated Café, located off the Ruwe Terrace next to the Museum Store.

Here you will find different stations offering fresh fare including a Salad Bar, Soup Station, Pizza Counter, Market Bar, and Grille. In addition to all of your favorites, find seasonal specials, healthy choices, staff picks, and kids options throughout. You can even customize your items from the Grille at one of our self order kiosks!

If you are looking for something on the go, check out our fresh but premade sandwiches, salads, and snacks in the cooler in addition to beverages for all ages.

Access to the Library exhibits is not required to visit The Gipper’s Bistro.

Please Note: we don’t take reservations for The Gipper’s Bistro, however there is ample indoor and outdoor seating available to enjoy your meal.

The Ronald Reagan Pub Hours

The Ronald Reagan Pub is an actual pub from Reagan’s ancestral home, Ballyporeen, Ireland that he visited during a diplomatic trip in the early 80s. It was dismantled and shipped to the USA in 2004 to be featured as a part of the Museum’s collection.

Located on the first floor of the Air Force One Pavilion, the Pub it is the perfect place to gaze up at the impressive Air Force One and enjoy a sandwich, salad, drink, or snack.

To visit the Pub, you must have admission to the Museum.
